Gia’s Perfect Latte (Part Six)

The following days were so long and boring.  Here I am in a city I hate with a control freak of a mother, angry at a person I do not even know. Furthermore, have no reason to be angry at; to begin with. So what if he followed me and thought it was alright to interfere with my life. Was I upset because he knew more about me than I knew about him? Why was I so full with anger?  Going to Starbucks was not an option at this point.  He already knows where to find me. Although I might have closed all doors and did not leave a single open one for him to come back through. All this and more was rushing through my mind.

I kept switching my times to avoid bumping into him, yet I kept seeing him every time.  I walked in one Saturday morning hoping to see him and promised myself I would talk to him if I actually did. I walked as slowly as possible and took the stairs, I felt so desperate after waiting at the door for no reason other than to catch a glimpse or see him pass by.  I went in the room after giving up. My mom’s cousin was sitting near her mom, she then handed me an ipod and said: “here this is yours you forgot it yesterday”.  I told her that was not possible because mine was in my bag.  I opened my bag to confirm then decided to agree and take it even though I did in fact see mine in the bag. Something was telling me it was from Mohammad.

I rushed out and took the long way back to the hotel through the park and proceeded to listen to the song.  It took me far away.  At this point, I knew he was the one. There was one single song on the ipod.  I did not even care how my cousin got it in the first place.  The song confirmed my guess.

To be continued…….
